Programme 7b
Cultural Diversity Awareness, Respect and Enriching Programme – Community and Voluntary Sector Audit – Oracle North East
Programme aim
To create a new, single, comprehensive, up to date, community, voluntary and sporting organisation database – Oracle North East, which will serve the Ballymoney, Ballymena, Coleraine, Larne, Limavady and Moyle council areas. The database will assist council staff from the North East Cluster in promoting and delivering relevant services and support in undertaking consultation processes.
Target beneficiaries
For the purpose of programme delivery: council staff within the six council areas and their appointed delivery agents and consortium members.
After programme delivery: the entire community in the North East Cluster.
Outcomes
A mapped existence and extent of the community and voluntary sector activity across the NE area, using current databases and research to build an overall picture on a council by council basis. This will lead to the creation of a single database capturing and categorizing the various types of community and voluntary sector organisations by nature of activity. Oracle North East will ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
