Leadership, Citizenship and Good Relations Programme for Community Leaders – community leader based

Programme aim
Targeted at community leaders from the NE Cluster area, this programme aims to explore and develop specific civic and leadership skills in the areas of reconciliation, mediation, sectarianism and racism. 

Target beneficiaries
The programme is targeted at community leaders from throughout the NE  Cluster area.  At least 60 existing and emerging community based leaders will participate.    

Outcomes
An increase in the community sectors’ contribution to improving trust and tolerance and understanding of differences in local areas and a safe, open and honest opportunity for communication to take place between local community leaders on their leadership role in peace building at local authority and local community level.

Timeframes
August 2009 – December 2010
